About

Hey! My name is Sarah and I am an architect in the DC metro area.  I have a real affinity for all things design so decided to write a blog about my own adventures in the field.  I cover anything and everything that inspires me or that I think may be inspiring/interesting to anyone reading the blog.  This includes, my own DIY projects, photography, contemporary architecture/design, films, and so on.  Feel free to browse through what I have so far and leave me comments if you have opinions or suggestions! Thanks, and enjoy!

Saw your posting on Apartment Therapy in response to “Experience with Noise Absorbing Ceilings?”

Really great info, thank you. I also live in DC and hoping for a contractor recommendation to deal with excessive emanating from the unit above me.

    Appreciate the help.

    • Most of the contractors I know of just do larger-scale projects. You could check out http://www.dbmc.us/ who are friends of mine, though they may be too busy. Often times word of mouth is the best way to find reliable workers, so ask any friends that may have done or may be doing home renovation projects.
